The inspiration behind the Aris-Idc lies in the problems plaguing the inspection of large-scale idcs. These data centers, often located in remote areas, face difficulties in recruiting technical personnel for daily inspection, operation, and maintenance. The manual inspection process is fraught with issues such as inadequate and inaccurate inspection, high labor costs, and high employee turnover rates. The Aris-Idc aims to address these issues by freeing operation and maintenance personnel from dangerous and heavy work, thereby improving inspection efficiency and accuracy.
The Aris-Idc is a unique solution in the realm of data center inspection. It integrates intelligent sensors, big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other advanced technologies to perceive and monitor the data room environment, equipment, sound, gas, temperature, and other multi-dimensional data in real time. It supports 24/7 unmanned inspection with an accuracy rate of over 99%. The monitored data is transferred in real-time and visually interactive to assist in precise decision-making.
The realization of the Aris-Idc involved the use of advanced technology. The robot is equipped with a high-definition wide-angle camera that checks the image of the server in the cabinet. The central processing server intelligently recognizes the images and compares them with the preset configuration information to diagnose the running status of the internal server in the cabinet. This process requires the quick and accurate identification of various image information, both static and dynamic.
The Aris-Idc was designed and developed over a period of 45 days. The design process involved overcoming several challenges, including designing the robot base and its structure to meet the special requirements of the data room. The designers also had to develop a data fusion algorithm for real-time robot localization and a multi-sensor positioning algorithm to avoid high error rates caused by single sensor data.
The Aris-Idc is not only a solution to the current problems of data center inspection but also a step towards green transformation and upgrading. It assists in optimizing resources in the data center computer room and reducing energy consumption. This innovative design, protected by patent number 202130564730.5, is a testament to the potential of robotics in revolutionizing traditional processes.
